SoFA Orientation

So last June 1, our school had an orientation, Lyn and I were a few minutes late (just a teeny bit.:)) so we were seated at the back already. So glad that we’ve met are other soon to be classmates and new schoolmates. The atmosphere was very quiet but because Ms Mads Constantino was really quirky and a witty joker, she made us laugh a lot of times during the whole orientation. After all talks, we followed Ms. Mads and toured us around the school and even let each of us grab a copy of some magazines from her office. Then we went to the finance office to get our usernames for our student profiles online but since the finance office was jampacked, we were given numbers then they let us stay at the sewing lab first and they said they’ll call us by the numbers given. And so we had the time to mingle and get to know some other students inside the sewing lab. After Lyn and I got our usernames, we got to chose our lockers before we went home. :)

So i wore a light material top and shorts that day because it was really so hot in MNL.

We went somewhere last Saturday and so this is what I wore. And ‘coz it’s really hot i wore comfortable clothes and also as what i said on my previous outfit post, bright colors give me the summery vibes! This is, so far the best episode of Princess And I which was last night, May 9, 2012. I cried tons from the recital part until the “End of Friendship” part. And, wag ka! My mom cried also. :) The Kiko-Mikay scenes last night were very heartbreaking! Khalil’s acting was at its best last night. His facial expressions and emotions looked so true! Try to take a look at the part when he was singing and he saw Gino went inside the church after Mikay. His eyes showed that he looked so hurt. And I bet, what really made me affected more was the fact that I can really relate to Kiko’s situation, which also made me all senti last night up to now because the memories came flashing again to me. Going back to Khalil, i thought, KATHLIL wouldn’t click. But Kali and Kathryn look so cute together. I can see the sweetness and chemistry between them. Also, i didn’t even thought he’d be that good on his first acting stint. I guess he proved that wrong! His acting doesn’t show that this was his first. He threw the lines naturally. All his emotions looked so natural. And that’s what made us love him more and more. So proud of you, Kali! We will always support you! <3

You cannot go to plaza and leave without eating our favorite streetfood—BAGA!

Yes, baga as in LUNGS of whatever animal it maybe. A cow i think? And why do we like to eat this weird thing? It’s delicious! And we are sure that those are clean. This manong with the blue-yellow-red-green umbrella has been our suki since 3rd year high school. And he has been selling baga since who knows when? I remember he said he had his cart over at our high school when vendors were still allowed outside. We were not even in high school yet that time.

And when he’s not there, we don’t buy baga from other vendors because it tastes different and we don’t trust them. Hahaha. We only trust this manong.

I’ve eaten 10 sticks that day.:)
